Chris Paul posted up these live shots on his official Twitter account (@oneandonlycp3) of his latest signature shoe, the Jordan CP3.III, hitting retail the first week of January 2010. The Jason Mayden-designed shoe features a “hornets” based design inspiration and is the first shoe to use an alternate Independent Podular Suspension (IPS) technology called “Podulon” which Jordan Brand says was created to “make the sneaker feel just as responsive and comfortable throughout its lifetime as during the first wear”. Other design highlights include a varied set of “family crest” designs on the upper depending on colorway, the area code “336″ for Winston-Salem inscribed on the lace tips, and an imagined hornets “stinger” notched on the tongue. If you can’t wait until 2010 for the shoe, a limited “Mardi Gras” release will hit House of Hoops on December 26th.
