The Air Jordan II Retro returns this year in one of its original base colorways. While not a spot-on replica of the 1987 model with its altered “JORDAN” badging on the outsole and red piping on the upper, the shoe retains the faux iguana skin paneling that helped make the original Italian-produced pairs famous. Currently scheduled for a May 2010 release, the shoes will retail for $135. A confirmed release date and production version photos will develop closer to launch.
