We take a look at a pair of unreleased Reebok Answer IX Pump samples here in White/Green. The shoe was Allen Iverson‘s tenth signature model (The Question + nine versions of The Answer) and featured Reebok Pump 2.0 technology which automatically inflated around the wearer’s foot for a custom fit within a few steps. DMX foam was used across the midsole and a herringbone pattern design is seen underfoot. The original retail price for the Answer IX was $125 back in 2005. Loved this shoe then and still do now. One of my default shoe when I need something reliable because of unknown conditions (court, caliber of play). Very nice quality and technology.
I think it was the last good Iverson shoe. That line has been downhill for years after some sick stuff earlier on
Never had these but the auto Pump feature sounds fresh
Sneakbox, really, the last 2 models were really good shoes, especially the XIII. Just very hard to find and not marketed at all. I definitely recommend picking up the XIII if possible.
the coolest design of Iverson’s shoes ever…!
Plus a high tech auto PUMP 2.0, it’s also a most advance basketball shoes ever. is this a retro model ?
I still have a pair of these, I have worn for 3 years now the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. Mine are solid black I bought at Penny’s outlet store. They had two pairs left I wish I had bought both!
Greatest shoes I have ever worn.
