The PUMA 917 Lo Su-Pa is a retro-styled shoe inspired by an unconventional combination: video games, motorsports, and the Porsche 917 race car. The low top, rubber-soled shoe displays a Black/White canvas upper covered by a black/white/burnt orange/light blue screen print design intended to resemble the 8-bit video game graphics of the 1980s. The colorway also reflects the paint scheme of the Porsche 917. The mildly pixelated print substitutes for a standard eyestay, as well as for PUMA’s medial/lateral sidebar logo, toe cap, and leaping Puma logo at the heel. A game graphic brick wall print fabric serves as the sockliner. Underfoot, a racing-influenced tire tread rubber provides low profile traction. The PUMA 917 Lo Su-Pa is available now. Retail is $55.
