On July 10th, 2010, Sole Fly Sneaker Boutique made its grand opening. The Miami, FL based shop featured a major lineup of guests joining in on the festivities including Michael Jordan, Tim Hardaway, Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, and Charles Oakley. Featuring live music, giveaway raffles, an MJ-autographed Silver Anniversary Air Jordan collection, and plenty of fresh kicks in stock, we sent CK Miami correspondent Precious Hannah to give us an inside look at Sole Fly and share her personal experience and photos of the boutique’s launch day. I got to Sole Fly around Noon and there was already a long line, people had been standing there since 6AM to get a peek at the new store and also to get some new kicks that were dropping. Raffles were going on to get either Sole Fly tee’s, a signed Jordan sneaker or basketball. A big red carpet was also laid outside to make you feel like a super star when you walk into the store. The inside of Sole Fly is pretty bomb to say the least. The music was banging hard with the latest tracks and the art inside of the building that is painted on the wall is pure creativeness. Sole Fly has a wide selection of Jordan’s, Nike’s and Supra’s with t-shirts to match. Overall the store had a real friendly vibe making sure that you’re being taking care of from the time you walk inside to the time you walk out. This will definitely be a boutique that I visit on the regular.
