Available now is the Hops Ol Skool Mid in White/Grey nicknamed the “Supaclean“. One of the technical features to the Ol Skool line can be seen on the medial side of the shoe with its cracked-cement appearance Dual Density EVA insert at the midfoot, a compound which Hops says is 25% lighter than conventional EVA used by many brands. Working in unison with Hops’ Medial Wing, the Dual Density EVA wedge gives added stability to the Ol Skool package for quick lateral cuts and aggressive on court movements. Definitely a clean look. Good to hear about the tech speks; this company seems like they put alot of work into making it a real performance driven shoe. Haven’t gotten a pair yet but thinking about it after reading the review.
It really is a different feeling shoe than most are used to. It may look bulky, but it plays very well and is one of, if not the, most stable shoes in my closet. I played in them again last week and could feel even more flexibility than when I ended my review. This color and the tested colorway are by far my favorite.
It does look supaclean lol. Fave part of the shoe is the full herringbone sole.
Would been sick with a little 3M sparkle!
