Sneaker Freaker x Asics GEL-Lyte III – “Alvin Purple”

Here are new images of the Sneaker Freaker x Asics GEL-Lyte III “Alvin Purple”. This new collab features a Charcoal/Purple/Grey scheme made of suede, matte felt, and mesh. A split tongue, dotted laces, and purple/grey accents cap the look. The shoe was inspired by the 1973 Australian comedy movie Alvin Purple, in which the title character finds that he is irresistible to women. The “Alvin Purple” shoe officially releases Friday, October 1st at select overseas retailers. Click here for full release details. why is there suede on a running shoe ?
doesn’t that mess up the material ?

I think it’s made just for lifestyle and to collect. I would doubt any hardcore runners would run in these. Look like SF getting it in with Asics on few shoes lately. I like this colorup
