Asics introduces the newest version of its top shelf GEL-Kayano line.

The GEL-Kayano 17 features a new upper design, ComforDry anti-microbial sockliner, asymmetrical lacing system designed to improve fit, a DuoMax (dual density) foam midsole, Dual Density Solyte material in the heel and forefoot, and continuation of the Space Trusstic System which is meant to better control midsole deformation and contribute to a more efficient foot form. The new package weighs in at 12.6 oz. Retail is $140. Officially available January 1, 2011, but you can find them now at speciality Running shops.
