After a few games of re-rocking retroes, Gilbert Arenas broke out the first Fila Grant Hill shoe last night, a sneaker that had all but disappeared from the spotlight in the last 5 years. Sporting the original White/Navy colorway, Arenas contributed 10 points and 6 assists off the bench in a 112-103 Magic home win over the New York Knicks. Older NBA fans will remember seeing Grant Hill slashing to the hoop in the GH1 during his rookie 1994-95 season. Fila re-released the shoe in 2006 under the name “VB ’95″, with a retail price of $79.99. The White/Navy colorway was listed as “Marine/White/Red” and a Black/White/Red edition was introduced.
Dwight Howard stayed with his “Home” adidas Beast and Knicks forward Danilo Gallinari, who’s been loyal to Zig, wore a Blue/Orange Reebok Zig Slash PE.
In Dallas, Caron Butler kept his kicks rotation spinning by choosing the Nike Air Max Fly By in a Mavericks White/Blue makeup. Tim Duncan’s adidas Big Fundamental saw court time, as well.
Utah Jazz rookie Gordon Hayward seems to have made a shoe switch, lacing up PEAK yet again. Hayward had been in Nike Air Max Hyperdunk 2010 earlier in the season.
All of these kicks ahead in NBA Kicks…
