It’s New York. Why not?
Looks like Dwyane Wade wanted to coordinate with our Tom Luedecke interview by debuting the Air Jordan 2011 in Black last night. Not really but Wade pulled out the shoe (and new glasses to fend off his migraines) for the big stage of Madison Square Garden and the New York Knicks, and added a big performance to go with it: 34 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1 steal. But the Knicks won anyway, 93-88. LeBron contributed 24 points and 11 rebounds, playing power forward in Chris Bosh’s absence, in his Black/Red Nike LeBron 8 V/2. For the Knicks, Landry Fields continued to make his case as a rising star with 19 points and 13 rebounds in his White/Silver Nike Zoom Kobe V. Amar’e Stoudemire chipped in 24 and 8. You already know what he wore.
The other two games on the schedule saw Aaron Brooks in his Black/Red Nike Zoom Hyperfuse Low, Jason Kidd in his PEAK Kidd II, Kevin Garnett in his ANTA KG 1, and Ray Allen in his green Jordan 2010 Team.
Let’s get to NBA Kicks…
