In a CB sort of way.
This must be the part of the season where Gilbert Arenas honors Charles Barkley.
Last night, Arenas again mixed in the unconventional, lacing up the Nike Air Max2 CB ’94 Retro in its classic Black/Purple colorway. Gil added 7 points, 7 assists, and 3 rebounds off the bench to help Orlando grab a 108-99 road win over the Timberwolves. Old schoolers will remember Charles Barkley sporting this shoe back in 1994 with the Phoenix Suns. Two days ago, Arenas put in work in the Nike Air Max CB34 “Glass Blue”.
In D.C., Wizards guard Nick Young seems to have left his cavalcade of Kobe V’s behind in favor of a Young-designed Nike Zoom Kobe VI iD. Young led Washington with another strong performance, pouring in 29 points in a 98-95 road win over the Raptors.
In other league kicks action, Kyle Korver drained a late 3-pointer in his red Converse Star Player EVO to help the Bulls beat the LeBron-less Heat, Gary Forbes followed in Amar’e Stoudemire’s footsteps by donning a pair of Nike Zoom Huarache Trainers, Gerald Wallace went with the “Flint” 13’s again, and J.R. Smith balled in the Nike Zoom Kobe VI.
All these and more ahead in NBA Kicks…
