NBA Kicks: Jason Kidd Can’t Let Go Of PEAK Kidd II

Jason Kidd has been loyal to the PEAK Kidd III this season, sporting a White/Blue edition at home and Black/Blue on road trips. In last night’s game he played with the formula a bit, pulling out the PEAK Kidd II for a stint before finishing the game in the III.

So far Kidd’s PEAK models have been Asia-only releases. But with the emerging domestic presence of Chinese sneaker brands and America’s piqued (no pun) interest in them, who knows what offerings we may see here in the near future.

With only two games on tap last night, the sneaker roundup was more meager than eager, but solid choices nevertheless. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook went with the Black/Photo Blue look, rocking the colorway on the Nike Zoom KD III and Nike Zoom Hyperfuse, respectively. Serge Ibaka kept the adidas adiZero Infiltrate fires stoked with a Black/Blue selection. And Shawn Marion got some court time in the Nike Air Max Hyperdunk 2010.

They should release some Player Colorways, get Converse out there a little more.
