Kobe’s got his own Concords.
Last night’s kicks array included a first appearance, a couple of bringbacks, and some standard fare.
After debuting the Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Green Means Go” on Christmas Day and the Black/Del Sol-Dark Grey-White edition four nights later, Kobe Bryant broke out the “Concord” colorway against the Philadelphia 76ers. Bryant scored 33 points to help the Lakers eke out a 102-98 home win.
In Boston, Ray Allen added some zest to his on-court kicks rotation, sporting a pair of White/Gold-Green Air Jordan XI’s against the New Orleans Hornets. Ray has worn this edition of the XI a couple times already during his Celtics tenure. The forever-injured Jermaine O’Neal, who finally got some significant playing time, went with a pair of White/Green Nike Air Max Closer IV PE’s. Hornets Chris Paul and David West continued with their go-to’s, wearing the Jordan CP3.IV and Nike Air Max Hyped, respectively.
Other kicks of note include Richard Hamilton’s Red/Black Air Jordan 2 from the “Candy Pack”, Stephen Curry’s Yellow/Blue Nike Zoom Hyperfuse, and Amir Johnson’s Air Jordan XI “Cool Grey”.
