J.R. Smith has been known to get a little marquee with his kicks choices, lacing up the Air Jordan 11 Retro “Cool Grey” and, lately, the Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Away”. Now J.R.’s decided to make his kicks a little more personal.

Last night, Smith unearthed a Nuggets-themed Kobe VI to score 16 points off the bench in a 109-90 drubbing of the Portland Trail Blazers. The shoe features a white base with blue/gold trim and blue laces. Perhaps J.R. finally put the Kobe VI option on Nike iD to good use.
