Derrick Rose decided to go green two days early.

Last night, he broke out his “St. Patrick’s Day” adidas adiZero Rose 1.5 to match the Bulls’ green jerseys in a 98-79 home win over the Wizards. Rose, who put up 23, 4, 7 and 2 for the Bulls, had been expected to debut his green shoes on St. Patty’s Day in a road game against the New Jersey Nets. But with the Wiz game being the last home date before March 17th, Rose got the festivities going early for the city of Chicago. The Bulls took over the number one overall spot in the Eastern Conference with the win.
