In with the new.
Dwyane Wade has been steadily rolling in the Air Jordan 2011 since the All-Star break. In only White/Black-Anthracite and Team Red/Team Red-White. Virtually every game. One or the other. And the only variation in this two-shoe mix amounted to Wade merely adding black laces to his White/Black pair. Like new Knick Carmelo Anthony, D-Wade has kinda been stuck in sneaker monotony. Well, monotony no more!
Last night, Wade debuted a new White/Red player exclusive of the Air Jordan 2011 against the visiting Nuggets, pouring in 32 points in a 103-98 win. The shoe boasted a mainly white upper with scant red trim on the upper and a red translucent outsole.
Also in NBA Kicks: Ray Allen takes his Black/Green Jordan Evolution ’85 with him to the Big Easy, George Hill brings back the Nike Zoom Sharkley, Rajon Rondo goes back to the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse, and Danilo Gallinari plays big off the bench in the Reebok Tempo HexRide.
Your daily kicks round-up awaits…
