The NBA’s Green Week continued yesterday after Monday’s gameless sidestep for the Butler/UConn NCAA Championship game. But many players, including Gilbert Arenas, didn’t go green. Instead, Gilbert went white. He returned to action in the Air Jordan IV “Silver Anniversary” after a 2-game illness absence, notching 6 points in 16 minutes off the bench and helped Orlando grab the 4th seed with a 78-72 win over the Bucks. Gil also did a halftime switch-up, finishing off the game in Air Jordan 13 Retro “Flints”.
In Atlanta, Joe Johnson debuted the Tech Grey/Metallic Silver Jordan Jordan Prime 5 for 21 points in a 97-90 home loss to the Spurs. Blake Griffin looks like he’s officially adopted the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011, putting up 15 and 14 with the shoe in an 82-81 victory in Memphis. Out in LA, former Butler Bulldog Gordon Hayward hit the Lakers for 22 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 1 block in PEAK to help the Jazz get the 86-85 win.
