Last night before Game 2 of the Hornets-Lakers series, Lamar Odom got public love for his Sixth Man of the Year award. Then, once the game was underway, he got sneaker love for lacing up a Lakers yellow and purple Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011. Odom did his sixth man thing, notching 16 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block as the Lakers even the series with New Orleans with an 87-78 win. Perhaps now with an even higher profile, Odom will feel compelled to keep his kicks game award-winning.

In the OKC, Russell Westbrook, himself a Hyperfuse connoisseur, started Game 2 against the Nuggets in his “Home” Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011, then finished the game in the “USA” Nike Zoom Hyperfuse. Sudden pang of patriotism?
