Last second fling.
The Spurs didn’t have life. Then, 1.7 seconds later, they did. With San Antonio down three, rookie backup guard Gary Neal knocked down a top-of-the-key 3-pointer as time expired to send Game 5 against Memphis into overtime. Tony Parker took over from there. Neal finished with 7 points in the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse, while Parker finished with 24 points in the Nike Zoom Brave IV after hitting several key jumpers in OT. Manu Ginobili knocked in 33 points in the Nike Air Max Fly By. Spurs won, 110-103, setting up a Game 6 in Memphis. Zach Randolph led the Grizz with 26, 11, 6 and 1 block in the Fly By and Mike Conley chipped in 20 points in the adidas Crazy Light.
Dwyane Wade and crew finished off the 76ers, 97-91. Wade notched 26, 11, 7, 1 and 1 in his “Home” Jordan Fly Wade, while LeBron quietly added 16 and 10 in his “Home” Nike LeBron 8 PS. Elton Brand (Converse EB3) and Andre Iguodala (Nike Zoom Hyperfuse) both scored 22. Miami moves on to meet Boston in the second round.
In OKC, Kevin Durant’s (Nike Zoom KD III) 41 made the difference in a close game with Denver, as the Thunder got the victory and the series with a 100-97. The Nuggets’ J.R. Smith contributed 8 points off the bench in a Black/Powder Blue pair of Nike Zoom Kobe VI. OKC awaits the winner of the Memphis-San Antonio series.
