Exclusive: Nike Air Huarache Bball 2012.
The court-styled Huarache is back and refreshed for the new year. Here’s a CounterKicks exclusive first look at the Nike Air Huarache Bball 2012.
We preview the shoe in seven colorways:

Nike Air Huarache Bball 2012 jump starts the original Air Huarache basketball shoe made famous by Michigan’s Fab Five. It takes the same Huarache neoprene upper and TPU support cage look and stacks it on top of new midsole/outsole tooling with a deep multi-directional flex bottom design.
Air Huarache Bball 2012 launches Spring 2012. Retail is $115.

These look nice, actually.
But we need a retro of the OG White/Blue/Purple. Can’t believe those haven’t been reissued. And throw in the Black/Blue again.
Really wondering how the flex of a true Free outsole will feel in basketball. The Puremotion is along the same principles, but there is still some rigidity in the midfoot. Just from looks, these seem to have Free tooling all throughout, leading to very little lateral support or impact protection. BUT, I LOVE the looks and thoughts. Put a Zoom heel and forefoot and a bit of shank plate and I am in.
