Nike Trainer 1.3 Max features a synthetic upper with forefoot Flywire support, external heel counter, full-length Cushlon midsole, 360 Max Air unit, and a solid rubber outsole.

The Trainer 1.3 Max is also a prime example of across the board price hikes in the footwear industry and Nike in particular, as a stated response to rising input costs. Trainer 1.3 Max launched this year at a $160 price point but is slated for a $10 upcharge in 2012 and will retail for $170.
