Video: adidas adiZero Crazy Light Vs. Nike Hyperdunk 2010 (And A Samurai Sword)

Cutting the line.

adidas Basketball drives home the message of its 9.8 ounce adiZero Crazy Light in one of the most visual ways possible: slicing a competitors shoe off with a samurai sword. How much of the Nike Hyperdunk 2010 needs to be physically chopped off to match the weight of theĀ lightest basketball shoe ever in the Crazy Light? Watch this video to find out…

Holy sh*t. I turned the volume way up right before the machete came in. I’m gonna go check my shorts now. Nice Ad.

Why wouldn’t they use Nike’s lightest basketball shoe for this ad?

Personally I’m not a big fan of Vs. ads.

I like ads to be less combative, and more ego driven.

^^^ I agree Nene, Show us why YOU are the best, not why you are trying to keep up or match the competition. I don’t think any product should ever compare itself in a commercial to another – makes for a desperate look, and you and I both know adidas needs to be anything but desperate after this year’s shoes.

Lunar, you are an idiot. but what did I expect from using Nike cushioning as the word. Nicekicks still needs readers.

Not liking the ad.
It’s not coherent with the ads they’re running with D.Rose and with their prints. Plus they pretty much jacked what New Balance did for the 890 campaign. NB were more coherent and clever in their ads and videos.

Lightest? So light that Lebron James and the Miami Heat blew them away that easily, hahahahaha!

^^
Derrick Rose didn’t wear ‘em anymore after he sprained his ankle in game 4 against Atlanta by using the Crazy Lights. If you’re saying it against D-Rose, anyway.

i bought the crazy lights with great expectations. and to be honest. not worth the self proclamied best shoe cuz its 9.8. its super uncomfortable and it hurts my feet. and its not durable, the mesh is already starting to rip, the hyperdunk miight sketch up a bit but besides that its fantastic, and my varsity team went to a school for games and we got to look at the 2011 hyperdunks for team shoes and they are gonna embaress every shoe. well i dont get a say in what i want cuz im a rising freshman but i hope my team gets em.. they are amazing
