Simeon shout out.
A “Simeon High School” adidas adiZero Rose 2.0 in a Grey/Blue/Electricity style is on the way this year. The grey upper is paired with blue SPRINTWEB mesh panels, interior lining, and “Splatter Traction Surface” outsole. Bright color hits of “Electricity” – adidas’ term for the neon green/yellow on the shoe – is found on the three stripes branding on the heel as well as accenting the SPRINTWEB upper and lacing system.
While the colorway itself pays homage to Derrick Rose’s high school, Simeon Career Academy, it takes the personal details to another level. A digitized city embossing pattern is seen on the toe, heel, and tongue of the shoe to pay tribute to Rose’s Southside hometown of Chicago.
The adidas adiZero Rose 2.0 “Simeon” colorway is expected for a Fall 2011 launch.
