LeBron & Wade get Finals fired up.
Everyone from sneakerheads to footwear industry watchers, basketball players to high school students, grandmas, grandpas, uncles, nieces, sons, janitors, soccer lovers, teachers, your friend’s friend, your friend’s best friend’s friend’s cousin, and some other folks, have been wondering if LeBron James and Dwyane Wade would actually get their own special makeup shoes specific for the 2011 NBA Finals. The first two Finals games in Miami told us, well, not really.
But today is a new day. And tomorrow LeBron and Wade will wear their respective namesake signature shoes in blow torch red colored models.
The Finals edition Nike LeBron 8 PS gets a bright red Hyperfuse-built upper with white midsole and tongue, yellow trim, and a black solid rubber outsole with yellow speckling on the Max Air 180 heel unit.
The Finals edition Jordan Fly Wade syncs up with a similar bright red upper featuring white contrast hits and yellow accent hits.
D-Wade’s Jordan Fly Wade “Finals” shoe will remain for Wade and the Finals only, but you can flip through other colorways at jumpman23.com or customize a pair to order at nikeid.com. King James’ Nike LeBron 8 PS on the other hand will be available to select retailers, but you’ll have to be quick on the drop (we’ll let you know when we know) as it’ll be in limited quantities.
Now you can stop reading and go look at the shoes…
