Under Armour Micro G Threat – Fall 2011

Posing a Threat.

Here’s a detailed look at a new basketball silhouette hitting this fall, the Under Armour Micro G Threat. The shoe features a combination synthetic and full grain leather upper, external injected TPU heel counter, full-length Micro G foam midsole, internal midfoot nylon shank, full-length diecut Micro G sockliner, and a one-piece solid rubber outsole.

UA Micro G Threat launches September 2011 in a slew of team based colorways. Retail is $79.99.

Wow, Tron, you really add alot to the site with all of your “intelligent” posts. Instead of dragging every design posted down, put your brain to work and let us see your own designs.

I want the white/reds, NOW. Love the UA line last year and waiting on the new ones. Bring ‘em.

The clean, minimalist look goes over really well over here. 8) Plus it’d safe me on the Customs taxes. :D

^^^ Not a problem. Your opinion is yours, and you are welcome to voice it. About that, no argument. However, allow me to retort – what, honestly, does “Wack Ice” bring to the table for discussion. Immaturity, lack of imagination, hostility. Nothing constructive. Have you played in the Black Ice? If so, give us your honest opinion so we know what you thought was wrong with it. Trust me, they are on here, and they look and listen to logical arguments and ideas. This isn’t the first time you have come at a shoe like this. Just tone it down and offer more than name calling is all I am asking. Like a shoe or hate it, I understand – I know. But to me, UA is headed in the extrememly right direction in their shoe line.

Good points Duke. Not everyone has to like these but if you’re going to criticize it at least have some reasonable points to back yourself up. If they’re just not your style aesthetically you can say that while still appreciating the shoe. If you have complaints with the performance, or think its not a very cohesive design, those are legitimate complaints. But your comments are, quite frankly, incredibly disrespectful to everyone who worked on the product, and don’t expect others to just accept it.

bunch Dukie its okay if you like weak product i dont care i am a sneaker lover just as you are but we have very different opinions when it comes to UA hoops design at this point i do hope they get a better direction i am a fan of the cleated footwear because i play football in them and the new Charge RC look cool with a good story but the hoops stuff to me just gets smoked next to what adidas and nike is doing i will not tone anything down !!!!!!! as i read all sorts of comments on these sites love it or hate it i respect all opinions no matter how honest and direct they may be so get a grip DUKIE !!!!!

You are exactly right. I work for UA. But wait, I like adidas designs, so I work for them too. Wait a minute, I gave the Wade a good review, so my name must be Gentry? How about the fact that I have worn the shoes, they perform great, and I educate myself before I get on here, type something up and sound ignorant, then slam any company not Nike or adidas? If you have worn the UA basketball line, you would know there is no way they are weak. My grip is fine – I recognize the fact some people have a Swoosh tattooed on their a$$. Not me. If a shoe is good, I call it. If it is bad, I call it. But I don’t insult the designs, because I know I couldn’t do better. Can you say the same?

I say it’s my opinion Dukie !!!!!!! they looks weak to me
i am sure they play decent but thats not my concern they look wack to me thus far that the bottom line!!!!! and my swoosh tattoo is on my arm lol… i am no designer i just recognize cool product and there is nothing cool about UA
stuff thus far its just me to stuff nothing that steps out ahead of the major hoops brands i am just be frank not ignorant DUKIE Brandon deserves better looking product!!!

I just bought a pair. Black/red…used for weight lifting. Love these shoes..great support squats, presses.
