Two-wheeled Tiger.
The Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 was originally released in 1966 and worn at the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City. Asics brought it back in 2002 and word is that bike messengers favored the shoe for it’s slim, stylish profile. The shoe has been in the sneaker mix ever since and now the brand has brought it back in a “Bike” edition for the “urban cycling enthusiast”.
Asics details the features:
Typical rubber outsole was replaced with a hard rubber outsole for durability on the bike
Iconic heel cross in the back has 3M reflectivity in the heel and woven into the laces for biking in the dark
Perforations were added on the upper, inspired by traditional cycling shoes
The shoe is available now in Yellow/White and Black/White. Retail is $85.

Anyone know where to pick these up?
