Previewed in three colorways:

- White/Pure Platinum/Wolf Grey/Soar
- White/Wolf Grey/Pure Platinum/Sport Red

Nike Air Max Alpha 2011 gives runners an alternate option to the top shelf, full-length 360 Max Air bag with a more targeted 180 Max Air heel unit. The shoe also features no-sew Hyperfuse construction, Nike+ connectivity and a solid rubber outsole.

Air Max Alpha 2011 retains its $140 price point into 2012.
