Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 reintroduced “Huarache” fit to a new generation of ballers in 2004. The Eric Avar designed shoe was originally meant to be Kobe Bryant’s signature shoe (until that whole Colorado thing went down). Regardless, the Huarache 2K4 was backed by a large marketing campaign as the pinnacle culmination of the Swoosh basketball catalog to that point and went on to become one of the biggest selling products in Nike Basketball history and birthed a new annual Huarache footwear franchise model for the basketball category. Now it’s back.
Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 returns with a $125 price point in 2012.
