Nike Unveils New 2011 Army Pro Combat Football Uniforms & Cleats

Black Knights.

The 2011 Army Nike Pro Combat football uniforms and cleats take inspiration from the undefeated national championship Army squads of 1944 and 1945, both of which went a perfect 9-0. The top half of the dress breaks down like this: The helmet goes gold with a center black stripe, the Hypercool undertop is black with gold Army “A” front and center, the white uniform top is contrasted with black lettering and numbering and includes “Sing Second” stitched into the collar – a nod to the tradition of the winning team singing its alma mater last and a reminder that winning is the only objective.

The bottom half is gold pants, the socks are sand colored with “This We’ll Defend” sewn into the top, sand/black Nike Zoom Alpha Talon Elite and Nike Zoom Vapor Carbon Fly TD cleats, and sand Nike Trainer 1.3 Free’s. Black Nike Vapor Carbon gloves with halved gold “A” complete the look. Army breaks out this uniform in the 2011 Army-Navy game at FedEx Field on December 10th.
