Grown Ass Wall.
Hitting the age of 21 is a milestone in everyone’s life. Yes it means you’re able to buy booze legally but most importantly, it signifies the transition from youngin’ to young adult. Reebok wants to honor this rite of passage for John Wall‘s 21st birthday (which was yesterday, the 6th) with a limited 21-pair, mens size 8-14 release of the Reebok Wall Season 2: Zig Encore in a “Grown Ass Man” edition.
The shoe goes black with blue denim blocking, displays tan leather “GAM” tags on the tongue and insole, and comes in a handmade, individually numbered, laser etched cedar shoe box with cedar shoe trees built specifically for the Encore’s last shape. The shoes will be released at a special launch event this Saturday, September 10 at the Crabtree Valley Mall Foot Locker in Raleigh, North Carolina – Wall’s hometown. Each pair will retail at $210. Crabtree Valley Mall is right down the street from me. I will check them out tomorrow. Probably won’t buy though. I’ve only owned 1 pair of Reeboks in my life and they were for running.
