Fed in Paris 2012.
Here’s a first look at Nike’s Paris 2012 collection for Roger Federer. We dropped exclusive views of Summer 2012 colorways in Fed’s next signature shoe, the Nike Zoom Vapor 9 Tour SL, and this new catalog shot represents the best resolution image of the sneaker yet.
Nike’s catalog description of the Zoom Vapor 9 Tour SL reads:
- Pinnacle Nike performance tennis shoe that combines stability and lightweight durability
- New Adaptive Fit technology optimized lightweight foot stability for the ultimate fit
- Full length cushion midsole with Nike Zoom in heel
- Running inspired upper for improved fore foot flexibility, breathability and ride
A signature Nike “RF Smash Clay Polo” jersey top is also included in the collection as an apparel hook up to the Anthracite/Black/Cyber/White colored Zoom Vapor 9 Tour SL.

Nice kicks, but all black in summer? Put Roger in green!
These are the best Nike tennis shoes I’ve seen since the grey/black/yellow Courtballistec 2.3s from last season. I love the colorway- not enough grey tennis kicks out there. White may be traditional, but grey keeps its look a lot longer. I can’t wait for these.
