Love The Game. No Matter What.
Jordan Brand debuts its new “Love The Game” ad spot tonight, to be aired in the 3rd quarter of Monday Night Football. As with most things these days, the real unveiling has already happened online and on YouTube.
In what fits as both a well timed backdrop to the ongoing NBA lockout and a follow up to last year’s “Love Of The Game” series of ads with Michael Jordan and other Team Jordan athletes, we watch as Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony show us their love for basketball isn’t confined to giant corporate sponsored arenas.
Wade is seen playing pickup in the Miami Kiwanis Club League, Flamingo Senior Rec Center League, and Dade County Municipal League. Paul hoops in the NOLA Inter-Parish League, and in the comical highlight of the video, also stars in the Bayou Women’s League. Melo finishes off the individual segments with buckets in Williamsburg, Five-Star Basketball Camp and a Jewish “Under 40” League. The Jordan Brand big three is then seen in an exhibition game in Drum Tower Park in Beijing, lighting up the night for a crowd of happy Chinese fans.
