The “Power Stripe” brand since 1949 is getting preppy next year. PRO-Keds has hooked up with specialty retailer J. Crew for a sneaker named the Royal Master Dura-Kool. Featuring a leather upper build, the silhouette also carries a rubber toe cap and vulcanized sole, with nylon side stripes wrapping up the look.

PRO-Keds tells us the J. Crew Royal Master DK will be coming to stores in May 2012. Retail price on the shoe is set for $85.
