Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
The general public doesn’t get access to the new adidas adiZero Smoke cleat until Spring 2012 but that’s not stopping the triple stripes brand from rolling out special makeup product to its on field athletes now to help light the retail fuse in advance.
Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young and Miami Dolphins wide receiver Davone Bess took to the turf in Turkey Day games yesterday wearing team colorways of the adiZero Smoke. Additional adidas athletes will wear their own versions this weekend, with advance looks at the boot coming to adidas Football’s Facebook page in the upcoming weeks.
adiZero Smoke wraps up your foot with a double-layer SPRINTSKIN upper application, internal TPU welded suppot, and a molded SPRINTFRAME outsole chassis giving what adidas says is “unbelievable light support, durability and acceleration” all in a low cut, low to the ground football cleat.

Awesome!
How much do they cost?
