NBA is back and adidas is running with the Bulls in 2012. Backed by strong product launches in the adiZero Crazy Light and adiZero Rose 2, with seasonal “second half” positioned adiZero Rose 2.5 and the Crazy Light sequel on deck for release next year, another DRose influenced style will also enter the fray to continue to capitalize on basketball’s reigning MVP: the adidas Rose 773.

The digits “773″ grace the lateral ankles of the shoe and serve as a hat tip to one of Chicago’s primary area codes. If the shoe’s tooling with its lightweight SprintFrame chassis and miCoach SPEED_CELL augmented bottom looks vaguely family, it’s because the Rose 773 rests on the same platform as the Rose 2.5 which is likely to be debuted on court by Derrick at the 2012 NBA All-Star Game in Orlando and serving as his go-to ride for the remainder of the regular season. Whether the 773 clocks in with DRose for pro ball time remains to be seen.
