AJ2012 A.
Building on the interchangeable midsole concept of the Air Jordan 2011, next year’s Jumpman flagship shoe takes user customization to the next level.
The Air Jordan 2012 comes bundled in a “Flight System” package allowing the wearer options between two dynamic fit liners and three cushioned “Performance Rides” in the brand’s “Quick,” “Air,” and “Explosive” silos. Marked for a $223 price point, the fully stacked Air Jordan 2012 “Flight System” arrives on February 11, 2012.
But the shoe you see on Some Guy‘s foot here is more of a base configuration and arrives later.
This is a first look at the Air Jordan 2012 A model which features a “Low & Lite” interior fit, both encapsulated Air and Zoom Air built into the removable midsole/sockliner, and two sets of laces for an added bit of superficial customization. This “Flight Style” designated Air Jordan 2012 option brings the retail label back down under the double bill watermark, set for $180, and comes with a February 23, 2012 launch date.

hahaha…..oh how the mighty have fallen!
…the JORDAN BRAND is officially dead.RETROs are the ONLY thing this company can rely on.
Call me crazy….. But I like it. Thus shoe has cone a long way since I saw the first rendering back.in June? I believe. I here flywire but Wtv….. Wish they would just use leather. Personally I don’t care about a couple extra oz.
=(. ‘sup with tinker giving us an hour of his time and cranking out something once again iconic on his ipad?
please? PLEASE!
no wonder Tinker makes shoes in an hour on his iPad…. because its easy to make a SHITTY shoe in an hour. dud if this had no jumpman they are worse than payless and kmart shoes my nigga
Air Jordans are just like the heavyweight division of pro boxing, your best days are behind you.
Anybody who rocks these are…………………………….Lame.
Terrible………..crude design, rehashed tech, that basically tries to bank on the ever growing LOGO(next shoe will be all-logo probably to hide the lack of effort) to sell the shoe.
Just noticed the Foam One/Pro shape.
might cop the 2012 A for balling in. but no way am i paying $180 for it let alone
let alone the $223 for the “flight system” 2012.
see you at the outlets 2012 A
these are fugly & too expensive smh JB
These unfortunately will hit the outlets or go on sale for deep discounts. The 2011′s were great but still hit the sales racks. Matter of fact there is a mom and pop spot that’s selling the warrior pack colorways buy 1 get 1 free.
Maaan.. UH-UH. Not for $180, not for $223. Daaammn. These are capital F.U.G.L.Y.
I’m now old and I’m just going off of memory, but I’ve heard this too many times to ignore it by this point.
1992 – What? No air window? Garbage.
1993 – STILL no air wondow? Carpet on the tongue, they not even trying anymore.
1996 – Black patent on a Jordan? HAHAHA. These will never sell.
1997 – That toe piece makes these look like Donald Duck. Ugliest shoe J ever.
1999 – The sole looks like some fool with his teeth knocked out.
Ever since the 6 passed by, every Jay has been hated on for months before somebody bought them. The only reason the old shoes look good, is because MJ was wearing them while he made Ewing look ridiculous. These may be ugly and overpriced, but you fools act like the old shoes were always beautiful, a bargain and didn’t hurt your feet after 20 minutes.
i might officially throw away my jordans and pull a kemba walker start with jordans now UNDER ARMOUR
^^^^^@SLICE. You are correct sir! I believe they will hit the sales racks though and then I will scoop a pair. No need to pay retail when you can buy at a discount in the upcoming months.
Wow, these shoes look lame. The 2011′s sucked performance wise, but at least they looked half decent. I will definitely not be playing $180 for these.
Can Jordans just focus on making a sweet looking shoe and stop focusing and doing the gimmicky interchangeable midsoles? No matter what, Jordans and Nike already have solid cushioning and midsoles. People are not going to buy it for the interchangeable midsoles, they are going to buy it for the look. It’s been going down hill since the Air Jordan XXIII.
They should of made the top half of the shoe one piece
instead of having gaps in it. If this shoe didn’t have the J symbol it would look like a $30 pair of shoes from the Chinese emporium.
Retro the 17 Plus in 2012. Please
They should have designed it unique way because competitions are bit tight today, now that Kobe and Wase has their own shoe line too. They should have done better. I like the design though and the interchangeable booties are undeniably unique.
@slice seems like they didnt try very hard man…let down. im 30 and i heard all the same things too, but every “J” had something to admire about it, even if it was, “ugly” a j being ugly meant “i dont quite understand them being ahead of the times” but this shoe is uninspiring. im trying really hard not to h8 man, trust me.
If they remove the piece of leather of the toe and drop some original color ways it would be dope. Black white with a clear red bottom. White red an a lil black. All black with sued and clear red bottom an a red jump man. Fly wire is dope they should have left the leather off the toe. But like yall said wait about seven months and they’ll be like $69
