Retro will out.

Finally, we get some Jordan retros to peruse on NBA Kicks! Sure we’re only the second day into the truncated 2011-12 NBA season but it’s about time.

Wiz guard and sneakerhead-on-the-quiet Jordan Crawford pulled out the Air Jordan 7 Retro “Bordeaux” for a match with the Nets. Rockets guard and well known Jordan wearer Courtney Lee chose the Air Jordan 14 Retro “Last Shot” to battle with Dwight and the Magic in Orlando. But the big sneaker story last night was Pacers forward Paul George breaking out the Air Jordan 11 Retro “Concord”. Again, finally! Why it’s taken this long for just one of the dozens and dozens of well-connected, passionate sneaker fanatic NBA players to break out the epic Concords, right in the eye of the recent Concord release storm, is puzzling. But finally!

Know what? Forget the rundown today. Someone wore Concords in a game and we have to cut straight to the pics now. But watch out for Kobe in VII Supreme‘s, Marcus Thornton and Kawhi Leonard in Nike Air Max Penny 1‘s, Rip Hamilton in AJ 3 Retro Black “Flips”, and Evan Turner in Li-Ning Turningpoint’s, among the many other kicks in the roundup.

Ok, let’s do it…

I think that Kyle Korver may be wearing the Converse Automatic 2k11 this year. It is essentially the same as a Star Player Evo, but with a few minor differences in the detailing on the back of the shoe (leather instead of the carbon look) and the bottom (carbon detail replaced by plastic).
