Kobe leaves the Jazz with a purple eye.
Kobe’s had a lot to deal with lately. New coach, older team, no CP3, wife divorcing, torn ligament in his hand, having to call Ron Artest “Metta”, an 0-2 season start. Good thing winning kisses all of these boo-boos.
KB24 gave Utah a slap to open their season with 26 points, 8 boards, 5 assists, 1 steal and 1 block to help the Lakers dominate the Jazz, 96-71. Kobe continued his Nike Kobe VII System Supreme run in the white based “Concord” version. He started the season on Christmas wearing the “Cheetah” VII and then followed with the Black/Del Sol VII against the Kings in LA’s second season game.
In Miami, the Heat pulled away from the still Paul Pierce-less Celtics, 115-107, in no small part due to backup Norris Cole scoring 14 of his 20 points in the 4th in a pair of Nike Zoom Soldier V‘s. LeBron and D-Wade did the heavy lifting early, though. Bron was good for 26, 6, 5, 1 and 1 in his Nike LeBron 9 “Freegums” while Wade did 24- 1, 8, 2 and 4 in a new pair of Jordan Fly Wade 2. Ray Allen put on his Air Jordan 2011 A Flight‘s to carry the C’s with 28 points and 6 three-pointers, and Rajon Rondo helped with 22 points, 8 boards, and 12 assists in the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011.
