World Peace arrives.
Ever since the Lockout ended, the NBA 2K12 team has been working tirelessly on adding new shoes and rookies to the game. Yesterday, the company released a 1-minute trailer to exhibit the latest roster updates. Yes, now you can be Metta World Peace, too.
The video itself shows a lot of love for the Nike/Jordan Brand athletes. Especially to the newly downloadable signature shoes from Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and Kevin Durant which are shown multiple times, sometimes even in different colorways.
Aside from sig sleds, other virtual Swoosh big men like Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol and Al Horford make appearances in the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011. And in the virtual world, Monta Ellis wears neither Concords nor Air Jordan 8.0s.
Other footwear brands also make cameos, though not with the sheer float and frequency as their Nike clad counterparts. From adidas, only the adizero Crazy Light pops up on pixel players from time to time. John Wall makes no appearance at all, so only Jason Terry reps the Vector logo in the Zig Pro Future.
Under Armour may have signed a partnership deal with the NBA a few weeks ago, but the virtual counterparts of Kemba Walker and Brandon Jennings still have to play in generic blocked shoes for the time being.

…I’ve been bullshitting.Need to buy that 2K12.
