Kobe recently confirmed to Richard Branson that, like the Virgin Group magnate, he too had successfully ventured into space. In fact, the graphic seen here on his Nike Kobe VII 2012 NBA All-Star shoes was taken from an iPhone photo Kobe snapped while he was beyond. Nah.

But the ethereal space graphics do a convincing job of conveying KB24′s out of this world basketball acumen. The shoe’s also got glow in the dark soles, player “space” badges on the heel, and space graphic lining.

This edition hits retail around All-Star break next month.
