…we all know KOBE can score. I’d like to see him dish out more assist and get others involved. He was not looking to pass lastnight. That’s why they lost.CLIPPERS were intense.

Who was he supposed to pass to, nobody else was efficient, if he would’ve passed more, they would’ve had a bigger loss.
Lakers are gonna self-destruct, this happened last time Phil left too, no Phil, no glory.
KD should make those new White/Black/Grey’s his main home shoe they got great color-blocking.

I was watching that game last night, and tracking Kobe close, and at half time I was bummed as I thought there was no way he is going to keep the 40 streak alive. He proved even me wrong, someone who has always believed in Kobe since his rookie year, as I have watched almost everyone else jump on and off the bandwagon.
I have considered Kobe the 2nd greatest player of all-time ever since his 5th ring, and I honestly think he still has a shot at the GOAT title. Just think, if KB keeps playing like this, averages 34 ppg this year (in year 16!), wins another ring or two, and eventually captures the 2 or 3 slot in all-time scorers, than he is the GOAT. Kobe’s story is different than MJ’s, but it is shaping up to be just as important, in my view – Bryant’s story is about playing at a high level for a stretch of possibly 20 years, and the unmatched competitiveness and drive.
And I have all of the respect in the world for guys like Bill Russel, but to put him at #2 or #3 means you are saying that the level of athletes and on-court strategies were just as fierce in his day, which obviously they weren’t. Dwight Howard would be breaking bones of defenders every night if he played in Russel’s NBA.

@Zhifu, no way. I don’t care how many rings Kobe gets he will never be the G.O.A.T. You’re right his story is different it doesn’t match up to that title. Sorry you can hope it all you want but it will just never happen. Kobe is great but will never be the G.O.A.T.

kobe is great but the G.O.A.T.? no way man. If you sit down and compare the two there is not a chance of him being better than MJ. or Magic, or bird or Russell or Kareem…
