Two are better than one.
With the exception of dalliances in shoes like the Nike Max Air BB 360 Low, Kobe VI “Rice” and Hyperdunk, Rajon Rondo has been a solid Hyperfuse man pretty much since day one. Mids and low. PE’s like crazy. But lately he’s been test running the Nike Zoom Hyperenforcer and decided to throw the new Nike Air Huarache 2012 for last night’s 91-89 win over the visiting Knicks.
RR, back with the C’s after missing the previous 8 games with a funked up right wrist, started the game in the black and green Huarache ’12, then jettisoned those at the half and came out with the black and green Hyperenforcer. Maybe a little old love for the first 24 and then modern business for the second? He was good for 7 points, 5 boards, 7 assists and 2 steals. Ease up on him, he’s just getting back. He wore two different cool shoes. That’s worth 35 points as is. The captain Paul Pierce mixed in some late game heroics in his green Nike Air Legacy 3 for 30, as did Ray Allen with clutch threes for 14 in the Jordan Pure J. Carmelo put up 26 in some Knicks “Road” Jordan Melo M8.
Down in Dally, second year up-and-comer Paul George put up a career high 30, including 7 threes, to give the rising Pacers a 98-87 win, their first big D win in eight years. PG added 9 boards, 5 assists, 5 steals and 1 block, all in a shoe as under the radar as he is: Nike Zoom Brave V.
These kicks plus Brandon Jennings doing work in the UA Bloodline “Fifty-Fifty White”, LeBron taking some flu game looking LeBron 9’s to Philly, Ray giving XIII fiends a break with the Jordan Pure J, Delonte back in “Duke” Uptempo’s, Lance Stephenson doing Pacer yellow UA Funk’s and more…
