It’s Celtics-Lakers. THE rivalry of sports rivalries. So of course Rajon Rondo had to bring out something special to wear. Hyperfuses won’t do for this game. So RR brought out a pair of black and green and white Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Lows with his number 9 plastered on the tongue. Only problem was Pau Gasol taking away his footwear thunder.
Pau came correct with 25, 14 and a huge block at the buzzer in his Hyperdunk 2011‘s to give the Lakers an 88-87 squeaker in Beantown, rendering Rondo’s shoe fun irrelevant. But not to us, right? For his part, RR did add 14, 2, 7, and 2 to the C’s cause.
