We know the Nike Kobe VII is a system. But it’s also Elite, as in the Nike Zoom Kobe VII System Elite, designated as the Black Mamba’s official post season/Playoffs marketed shoe. This Black/Metallic Gold-Dark Grey model updates the regular season system with what looks like a raised upper pattern, carbon fiber reinforced heel counter, and gold accenting throughout.

The Kobe VII System Elite also features “Full Length Nike Zoom Air” as noted on the medial heel, and comes in an upgraded box bearing the words “Nike Basketball Elite Series”. This special Kobe release is targeted for April 20 at a retail price of $200.
