96 Ways To Dissect A Brand New Air Jordan 11 Shoe

You’d never do this to a pair of brand new, $180 kicks. But this guy would. And does.

Here, the Air Jordan 11 Concord released last December goes under the scissors, knife, and bandsaw treatment exposing literally everything.

I’ve done this dissection before though. On an Air Jordan 11 Retro from 2000, and I’ve seen dissection photos of the original mid-90s version. There’s one big technical change to the 2011 model shoe that’s useful knowledge. The Air unit structure is different, covers more area, and is crafted to extend towards the big toe on both sides. Previous retros of the Jordan 11 came with the sharp cutoff of the Air bag at the forefoot area, as can be seen plainly in shoes with modular tech like the Air Jordan 2011 or other dissected shoes in past years. This is one of the first that I’ve seen of an internal technical variation in a bring back product. It’s interesting. And looking at the chopped up Jordan 11 photos here doesn’t cost you $180 or tears…
