Baron Davis Returns To Li-Ning, Li Ning

After a 5-game run (4 of which were road games) in the Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Duke” that started in Indianapolis two weeks ago, Baron Davis finally went back to his old Li-Nings. At least temporarily.

Upon return to New York City and the friendly confines of Madison Square Garden, BD put on a pair of “Whiteout” BD Dooms to take on the Wiz last Friday and then opted for them again Sunday in a marquee match with the Heat. He’s just exploring different options, as any sneaker free agent would.

Baron even had important eyes watching his sneaker choices over the weekend. As tweeted by MSG Sports president Scott O’Neil and retweeted by CNBC’s Darren Rovell, Mr. Li Ning himself was in attendance for the Heat game. Whether Chairman Un-Hyphenated was there in relation to Baron’s split with the Li-Ning brand, an attempt to butter up Jeremy Lin to an endorsement deal after his Nike contract expires next year, or simply enjoying the game is unclear. For now we know BD is in LN, until he isn’t again.
