Ever wonder how much it takes to make a classic? It takes a lot to make a classic. Rick Ross would like to tell you all about it with these pics of the Reebok Workout Mid (many colorways, out now), his new Reebok Classics TV commercial, an interview about his background, and the Behind-The-Scenes “Classic” look below.
Already over a decade stong, the larger-than-life story of Rick Ross started with him hustling his way through the backstreets of Miami and now continues toward becoming the next hip-hop legacy.
Growing up in the Miami suburb of Carol City, Florida and later forming local rap group the Carol City Cartel, Ross set out not just to make a name for himself, but to put Miami back on the national hip-hop map.
Inspired by the energy of the stage and the power of having a voice as a rapper, Ross debuted his first album Port of Miami that started a bidding war among the top record labels in hip-hop and considered by some to be an instant Classic.
Now on the verge of releasing his fifth studio album in six years, Ross adds to his impressive lineup including thirteen singles, a compilation album, a soundtrack, and forty music videos. His momentum and reputation in the game keeps growing, making Rick Ross hip-hop’s biggest boss and a true Classic in the making.
The spot was filmed by Colin Tilley who has collaborated with Ross on music videos in the past.

“hustling his way through the backstreets of Miami”
Pffff please. Was this before or after he was a corrections officer?
Man, come on Reebok. You’re better than this. Put away the lifestyle collectionss with these rap stars and step the game plan up with design, performance, and rising marquee talent. Got to be optimistic.
