PUMA Races Back With Global Rallycross Street Mid & Low

To celebrate its new sponsorship in the rally racing world, PUMA has put together the Global Rallycross Mid & Low and Graffic Mid & Low. Info, pics and video below.

This week PUMA is dropping four versions of the Global Rallycross Street, a new introduction inspired by the brand’s recently announced Global Rallycross Championship sponsorship and the Subaru PUMA Rallycross Team. The Global Rallycross Street takes design cues from the performance shoes worn by the team’s drivers Dave Mirra, Bucky Lasek, and Sverre Isachsen as well as their 2012 Subaru WRX STI rally cars.

Key design details like the rounded driving heel, sculpted collar shape (on the mid), perf detail on the shoe quarter, and flat laces and eyelets are taken directly from the original driving shoes. The color combinations are inspired by Subaru PUMA Rallycross Team colors and graphics, including the skull graphic on the sockliner. The combination of soft upper materials with lightweight tooling construction enhances comfort and brings a modern and fresh look to PUMA Motorsport.

The Global Rallycross Street is available in a mid and a low as well as a Graffic Mid and Low that have a more direct tie to the Subaru PUMA Rallycross Team. The mid takes inspiration from Dave Mirra’s car with a unique graphic treatment, speckled midsole and the teeth graphic seen on the front grill of Mirra’s car on the tongue. The Graffic Low has similar design featured but is inspired by Bucky Lasek’s #81 rally car.

These styles are available now on shop.puma.com, journeys.com, and Tillys.com, they will be arriving in stores in a couple of weeks.
