CounterKicks: What goals did adidas want to reach with the Feather 2? Specific areas to refine?

Mikal Peveto: Our primary goal is to create a high performance running shoe that helps athletes perform better. Light makes fast. Secondarily, we want the shoe to have enough structure that athletes of all sizes, shapes, and speeds can wear it.

CK: How do you describe the Feather 2?

Peveto: The Feather 2 is a pure running shoe. I am quite sure that there will be many athletes training beyond running in them, but they were made to help you get from Point A to Point Z as fast as you possibly can.
