The Reebok Answer IV is back this month. Hang out with AI a bit while you check the official release details and pics below.
Originally released in 2001, the Reebok Answer IV was worn by legendary point guard Allen Iverson during an unforgettable season. In addition to being crowned the league’s Most Valuable Player, Iverson and his Answer IVs led the Philadelphia 76ers to the NBA Finals against the Lakers. Arguably the biggest “did-you-see-that” moment of the series – and most memorable image of Iverson in his Answer IVs – was the legendary “step over” in Game 1.
Considered one of the Iverson line’s best performing models and best looking silhouettes, the Answer IV is a “must have” for sneaker collectors who admire its in-game history, clean design and signature details. The Answer IV features Reebok’s full length DMX cushioning technology and a unique zip-up closure system.
Iverson’s mantra that he wears on his arm – Only the Strong Survive – adorns the outsole of the shoe in the same script as his famous tattoo. A black/white imprint of Iverson’s face can be found set into the heel, picturing him with cornrows and a headband: his characteristic style circa 2001.
The limited edition Answer IV white/black hits key retailers including Foot Locker, Finish Line, Champs and more on 8/10 for $115. Like the white/red Question launch on May 25th, the Answer IV white/black will be a one-time drop in 2012. When they’re gone, they’re gone!
Answer IV will be available at Foot Locker, Finishline, Champs, Jimmy Jazz, Shoe City, City Gear, Shiekh, Shoe Palace, Kicks USA, Puffer Reds, Cool J’s, Mr. R Sports, Villa, City Sports, BX Sports and Reebok.com.
